Richmond Area Multi-Services, Inc. (RAMS) is a private, non-profit comprehensive mental health agency that is committed to providing community-based, consumer-guided, and culturally competent services that meet the mental health, vocational, social, residential, and educational needs of the San Francisco community. The target population of RAMS includes residents of the San Francisco Richmond district, and the greater Asian & Pacific Islander and Russian-speaking communities in San Francisco. RAMS offers services in over 17 languages and dialects, including Russian and many Asian languages/dialect (Cantonese, Burmese, Cambodian, Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Toishanese, Taiwanese, Tagalog and Vietanmese).

RAMS provides comprehensive services including, but are not limited to: Adult and Child, Youth, and Family Outpatient Mental Health Services; Psychiatric Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Programs; Integrated Health & Mental Health Services for Adult Residential Facilities; Vocational Training and Employment Services; Psychiatric Evaluation & Medication Management; Psychological Assessment and Testing; Clinical Practicum and Psychology Training Program; Mental Health Services & Consultation on-site at schools, youth centers, and child care sites; Problem Gambling Counseling; Group Psychotherapy Services; Community organizing advocacy; Outreach and Educational Activates and consultation Services and Clinical Research.

Adult Vocational Services[]

Services for individuals who have experienced severe emotional difficulties, who have had past or recent hospitalization, and who need support and structured therapeutic activities to help them live in the community and to develop or regain job skills. Provides psychological and vocational evaluation, mental health counseling, job search/job-interview training, support groups, and independent living skills.
